Truth and Reconciliation: A Journey of Learning and Understanding

We can only have true intercultural understanding by first acknowledging, understanding and embracing Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing.

Here on the traditional territory of the Sc’ianew First Nation, we at Pearson are privileged to be respectful guests on the lands and waters stewarded since time immemorial by Indigenous peoples and communities. Our journey of reconciliation is defined by both commitment and actions. Beyond welcoming all Indigenous students to a culturally safe place of learning, we offer every student a chance to better understand the legacy of colonialism and to appreciate the rich cultural traditions of Indigenous peoples.
