Renew & Re-found
Re-Imagining our Waterfront: Connecting to the Salish Sea
Pedder Bay, Race Rocks, the Salish Sea. Here is where we learn the teamwork, skills and stewardship to truly experience this unparalleled environment.
With its incomparable location on the edge of the Salish Sea, and within striking distance of Race Rocks Ecological Reserve, Pearson is uniquely positioned to offer transformative place-based learning and leadership experiences. Critical needs for the College’s waterfront include:
- A new marine science research and teaching vessel
- Renovations to floating Marine Science building and adjacent docks
- Upgraded Race Rocks living and learning infrastructure
- Updated equipment for diving, sailing, canoeing and kayaking programs
