COVID-19 | CAMPUS UPDATE
Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, our campus is currently closed to non-essential visitors and and the 22nd Pearson Seminar on Youth Leadership has been deferred to next summer, July 11-31, 2021.
Want to make a difference in the world?
The Pearson Seminar on Youth Leadership is designed to strengthen the role young people play in building a more just and equitable world. For 3 weeks this summer, come learn with peers from around the world and inspiring educators in an immersive, experiential, and transformative program. Develop your capacity to build diverse and inclusive movements and teams working towards social and ecological justice.
Join us at PSYL
We are grateful that we can gather, live and learn in the inspired setting of Vancouver Island, on the unceded territory of the Sc’ianew First Nation. At PSYL we learn on the shores of the Salish Sea, and amid British Columbia’s spectacular old-growth forests. We explore the ways in which this place is shaped both by global forces and its unique history, and the diverse forms of leadership required to move the needle towards justice and equity in this context.
