THE SETTING
The campus is a seaside village with buildings of native cedar and glass linked by paths under the towering old growth forest. Simple, low-slung buildings stand in harmony with the rainforest and make tremendous use of natural light. Canadian architects Ron Thom and Barry Downs designed the campus in their pioneering West Coast Modern style.
